Maureen Andary, aka Mo Dari, studies & performs classic jazz, blues, and country, writes cabaret tunes on the Ukulele, and folk tunes on guitar. Maureen is a part of the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities Young Emerging Artist Program which awarded her a grant to produce her debut album. A unique artist with a flair for poetic lyrics and expressive melodies - she truly is emerging.

DCypher Dance is the resident adult hip hop company at Joy of Motion Dance Studios, the largest dance center in the Washington region. Founded two years ago, DCypher has built a reputation for its high-energy performances that fuse the best of hip hop with traditional Latin and modern/contemporary dance. Company director Juliana Calderon has been nominated for a Metro DC Dance award for her innovative choreography, and the group's kinetic bond translates powerfully on stage. In addition, DCypher is committed to reaching out to underserved communities through dance and supports the philosophy that dance is for everyone!

Through iridescent color, amorphic shape, and varying texture, Michele de la Menardiere uses an abstract language to explore the rich complexity of the visceral landscape. She creates to inquire into such universal themes as: mortality; beauty; loss; the spirit; conflict; harmony; loneliness; and grace.The process of painting itself is equally as important as the end result. Michele paints as a cathartic response to her constantly evolving energies and emotions. She paints to be present and to connect to something deeply essential and sublime. Through this meditative exercise, each piece becomes an authentic and passionate expression of existing in the moment.
