Friday, July 3 8pm - 2am photo credit, Adrienne Harris How to Dress No dress code is required but the public is invited to express their creativity in their attire. The idea is to make the public a part of the show, not just a spectator, in the true carnival spirit. The theme this year is Celestial Bodies. Artists are encouraged but not required to follow this theme. The event is expected to attract 1000-1500 visitors between the start and the end. photo credit, Adrienne Harris 6pm-8pm As the public starts arriving, various musical performances will be taking place on the main stage. Mini stages will be set up in selected corners of the room with live demonstrations by artists who are not participating in the runway portion of the show. These may include such activities as live body painting, tattooing, makeup, or hair design for the public. 8pm-11pm Main fashion show featuring the work of all designers and artists on the runway. Every designer and artist will follow their last model on the runway to conclude their appearance, and performances will follow immediately, then the next designer so on and so forth until the end of the runway show. 11pm-2am The Art in Fashion closing party is for the public to dance and have a chance to mingle with all the artists, designers, and models. The Runway Four feet wide by 40 feet long, covered with Egg Shell Muslin taped with gaffer tape. Runway will be positioned directly across from the main stage with at least an 8-foot-wide space between them to allow enough space for the official photographer in front of the runway. Several bright colors of Lining Fabric to cover all pillars, to create festive decoration. ![]()
