My name is Jeannette Lilith Herrera. I’m a mother to two beautiful kids and wife to a very supportive man. I paint. It’s what I love to do. My greatest influences have been my love for American traditional tattoo, day of the dead, my Uncle Raul in Peru, also a painter and the people, places and events in my life that have shaped me. It was early on in my life that I decided that painting was a necessity for me, but only recently have I been able to fulfill the lifelong dream of becoming a full time artist. I am a picture framer as well with 15 years experience and a certification from the Professional Picture Framers of America. I custom build frames from scratch to coincide with the subject matter of some of my paintings. My work consists of portrait work, nudes, the assassin series, pin-up style/burlesque, antique toys, little BFK soldiers, varying states of emotional distress, and more recently my fascination with sea creatures and other curious animals. I love bright beautiful colors and bold outlines no matter what the subject is. I just love to paint.
