Installation is complete, and you are invited to come by and see 3 new works by Kerry. These works, created especially for Artomatic 2009, exult in fabulous fabrics - celebrating color, texture, and embellishments. In this venue I felt free to venerate the human form and our existence on planet Earth. I hope you will come see these very non-traditional quilts - unless nudity offends you!

The Goddess unleashes her soul via a zipper that opens her 3-D bosom. Her aura offers a colorful contrast to the simple softness of her skin, and her "blossom" is machine appliqued and hand-beaded.

This quilt depicts the goddess in some disarray, poised atop the spinning planet. Her dress is beaded silk organza, and the planet is hand-dyed silk charmeuse. The oceanic current circulations, so critical to climate stability, are etched in golden threads.
