The large geometric shapes in an image, are what first attracts my interest. The way light sculpts those shapes and the shadows give them depth creates an atmosphere worth exploring. Painting "plein-air," together with my drawings, gives me "real" time in a place I always seem to remember. Somehow the seeing becomes a feeling.

I got great feedback on my work. I really appreciate knowing that people were seeing the feeling and atmostpher, not just a picture of a place. Thanks, it was so much fun.
