Light is fascinating as it plays on everything we observe and how it affects the way we see things around us. Photography allows us to view the world from many different perspectives and, depending upon the light at the time of the photograph, the same picture can take on any number of interpretations.

My background is in computer programming, so it follows that I developed an interest in computer graphics and web development. I attended classes in Adobe Photoshop to hone my skills as a self-taught Photoshop user.

I use film cameras, toy cameras, digital cameras and a flat bed scanner in my work. Many of my images are manipulated using Photoshop to create abstractions of the originals.
